Crossfire 94 Red

Welcome Crossfire Players and Parents:

Thank you for joining our Crossfire family.  It’s my privilege to be coaching your children.  I want to take this opportunity to share with you some of my goals and expectations, as well as a coaching overview.

My goal is to train using game like intensity.   This way, when it comes to game time, it will seem easy.  We will be training very hard, but I will not push kids over their limit.  I will be encouraging all players to be independent, take ownership, be leaders, and to recognize faults within their own game and within the team.  I want them to be able to come up with different solutions to a single problem so that they learn to be creative in a game, recognize opportunities and execute them.  I will train them to be very good at the simple soccer skills and - at the same time - teach them as many of the more complex techniques and tactics as possible.  When they come to practice they will get an intense workout.  That is why all players must come to each practice prepared to work hard and have fun.  Our team will only get better by working together.

Expectations

  1. Have Fun.

  2. Be at every training session (missing 1 session will delay your progress as well as the team's).

  3. Show up on time.

  4. Be respectful and responsible.

Behavior Rules

  1. Everyone must follow all directions given by the coaches and assistant coaches.
  2. Everyone must hustle and do their best.
  3. When I talk you must be still and listen.
  4. I expect everyone to be a good sport whether we win or lose (this includes parents).
  5. No cursing or name calling.
  6. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Thank you for your time and dedication to the team.  We will be having a lot of fun working together.  Please feel free to contact me or anyone on the Crossfire staff with any questions.

Go Crossfire!

Coach Al
